Face Of Cheam

A Slade fanzine in the late 80s mentioned Spider being a cross between Slade & Quo. At the age of 11 I helped my brother collect their vinyl from Beanos. Never saw them live despite muting a reunion gig at Santa Pod which we booked but didn’t happen alas. Still Col Harkness played a part in my music preferences. This is one of his finest with a young Dave Ling at the front.
